Afore Insurance Services has acquired Myron K. Hobbs & Company, an employee benefits agency in Louisville, Kentucky. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal allows Afore to expand into Kentucky, adding a new office in Louisville. Myron K. Hobbs & Company staff will work alongside Neace Ventures, led by Afore vice-chairman John Neace.

Neace, with extensive insurance experience, will lead the integration. Myron K. Hobbs praises Afore’s business model and leadership. The partnership aims to accelerate growth while maintaining local relationships. Afore’s focus on empowering employees and producers excites Hobbs, highlighting the potential for holistic client service.

Afore Insurance Services, based in Georgia, has over 20 offices nationwide. CEO Michael A. Garguilo sees the acquisition aligning with Afore’s mission. The move into Kentucky strengthens Afore’s presence and supports regional growth. Last year, Afore acquired Salzberg Insurance Agency in Virginia, expanding its reach in the insurance sector.
