Cotton prices are steady to 8 points higher on Wednesday, following a 29 to 36 point decline on Tuesday. Crude oil futures rose $1.92 per barrel to $65.14, while the US dollar index increased by $0.269 to $97.570. The latest online auction from The Seam saw sales of 55.62 cents/lb on 8,680 bales.

The Cotlook A Index dropped 45 points to 73.35 cents on February 3, with ICE certified cotton stocks rising by 2,247 bales to 36,515. The Adjusted World Price was updated to 50.23 cents/lb last week. Current cotton futures prices show Mar 26 Cotton at 62.39 (up 8 points), May 26 Cotton at 64.11 (unchanged), and Jul 26 Cotton at 65.81 (up 1 point).
