Delhaize Belgium has acquired Delfood, expanding its presence in Belgium’s convenience retail sector with 303 outlets. The deal’s financial details remain undisclosed. The acquisition includes logistics operations and headquarters, increasing Delhaize’s total stores in Belgium and Luxembourg to 1,109. Regulatory approval required the sale of seven outlets. Ahold Delhaize reported a 6.1% sales increase in Q3 2025, driven by acquisitions and online sales, with an operating margin of 4.1%.
