Defend American Jobs, tied to crypto PAC Fairshake, will spend $5 million supporting crypto-friendly US Senate candidate Barry Moore. The five-week campaign includes TV ads featuring Trump endorsing Moore. Super PACs cannot donate directly to campaigns but fund ads to promote candidates to voters.
Fairshake, backed by crypto companies like Coinbase and Ripple Labs, spent $130 million in the 2024 US elections supporting pro-crypto candidates. Moore, labeled ‘strongly supportive’ of crypto, is endorsed by Trump and has expressed positive views on cryptocurrency’s future.
A survey of 500 Republican voters found Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall leading with 26%, while Barry Moore follows with 17%. Both candidates are rated ‘strongly supportive’ of crypto by Stand With Crypto. The US midterm primary elections are in May, with Fairshake disclosing $193 million in cash.
Fairshake’s cash, along with donations from Gemini Trust Company and Foris Dax, could influence the US midterms. The general election on Nov. 3 will determine elected officials. The 2026 US midterms are shaping up to be significant for the crypto industry, with a focus on supporting pro-crypto candidates and policies.
