Operating across Canada, Sweden, and Paraguay, HIVE’s geographically distributed model supported consistent performance during cold weather events. The company’s strategic investments in renewable energy and high-efficiency hardware contributed to its success in January, with CEO Aydin Kilic emphasizing a focus on AI and high-performance computing infrastructure.
HIVE realized $7.4 million in value from cashless exercises tied to its 2025 Bitcoin pledge, using proceeds to purchase new ASIC miners for its Paraguayan facility. The company plans to increase installed global hashrate to 25.5 EH/s and improve fleet efficiency to 17 J/TH. Additional renewable energy capacity is scheduled for deployment, supporting future expansion in mining and other workloads.
With 440 MW of renewable energy capacity and plans for an additional 100 MW, HIVE continues to grow its operations. Executive Chairman Frank Holmes highlighted the company’s efficient scaling and profitability, noting its 290% year-over-year growth and significant share of the global hashrate.
