India hosted the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, bringing global leaders together to discuss the future of AI. The summit supports the IndiaAI Mission with over $1 billion to boost the country’s AI ecosystem. NVIDIA is collaborating with cloud partners like Yotta, L&T, and E2E Networks to build advanced AI infrastructure in India.
Yotta is deploying over 20,000 NVIDIA GPUs in its Shakti Cloud data centers to provide affordable AI services. L&T is building gigawatt-scale AI factory infrastructure in Chennai and Mumbai. E2E Networks is launching an NVIDIA Blackwell GPU cluster in Chennai to support sovereign AI development in various sectors.
India is focusing on developing frontier AI models trained on Indian-specific data and infrastructure. Organizations like BharatGen, Chariot, Commotion, CoRover.ai, Gnani.ai, NPCI, Sarvam.ai, Soket.ai, Tech Mahindra, and Zoho are utilizing NVIDIA Nemotron to build multilingual AI systems for various sectors in India.
NVIDIA is partnering with government agencies, research institutions, and venture capital firms to support AI research and startups in India. Collaborations with the Anusandhan National Research Foundation and venture capital firms like Peak XV and Z47 aim to advance AI projects and fund promising startups in the country. Over 4,000 Indian AI startups are part of the NVIDIA Inception program.
