Assay results for 13 drill holes at the Haib Copper Project in Namibia show promising intercepts, such as 602m @ 0.32% CuEq and 495m @ 0.31% CuEq. With 12 drill rigs active, new track-mounted rigs are being mobilized to accelerate drilling. An updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) is expected soon, aiming for Indicated status by mid-2026. Metallurgical testwork and technical studies continue for a planned Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) by late 2026. The Haib project aims to produce 88,000tpa of copper over a 24-year mine life. CEO Heye Daun is pleased with the latest results, which confirm the size and grade of the deposit, supporting the ongoing drill program and upcoming PFS. In-fill and step-out drill holes have shown widths and grades exceeding expectations, contributing to the resource base. Target 1 results from HM114 in the southeastern area also align with projections, uncovering a wider high-grade zone than anticipated. Recent drilling at Haib Copper-Gold Project has revealed promising results, with HM115 showing mineralised intervals exceeding expectations, including gold grades of approximately 0.4 g/t Au. HM117 also displayed positive results, with the highest copper grade recorded at Haib to date. Target 2 results varied, with HM108 showing lower-grade intersections than predicted, while HM120 displayed elevated tungsten levels.
In Target 3, drilling at HM110 and HM116 did not yield significant copper or associated mineralisation, suggesting they lie outside the main mineralised envelope at Haib. Structural complexity was noted in the southeastern part of Target 3, with HM121 and HM111 showing varying copper grades at different depths. HM112, located between Targets 3 and 4, displayed broad zones of copper mineralisation with significant levels of molybdenum and tungsten.
Target 4 results from HM109 confirmed a shallow copper zone exceeding 0.3%, with deeper extensions of copper mineralisation present but with thinner intervals and lower grades. Molybdenum levels were notably elevated, and gold mineralization was also present at depth. Overall, drilling across different targets at Haib Copper-Gold Project revealed a mix of promising results and further exploration potential. Koryx Copper Inc. reported additional Au assays above 0.2g/t at greater depths, with HM113 showing results comparable to HM109. The company plans to convert all mineral resources to the indicated category by July 2026 for the PFS study update. Quality control measures include analysis by ICP and a 30g fire assay method.
The drill program at Haib Copper Project in Namibia aims to advance the copper/molybdenum porphyry deposit. The project has a current mineral resource of 511Mt @ 0.33% Cu and 51 ppm Mo in the indicated category. The site’s mineralization is typical of a porphyry copper deposit, with chalcopyrite as the dominant mineral.
Mr. Dean Richards, a registered Professional Natural Scientist, is the Qualified Person for the Haib Copper Project. Koryx Copper Inc. is focused on advancing the Haib Copper Project while building a copper exploration portfolio in Zambia. The company aims to demonstrate Haib as a long-life, low-cost open-pit copper project with potential for additional production from heap leaching.
