Kroger promotes Mike Goodwin to president of Central Division, overseeing stores from Ohio to Missouri. Goodwin succeeds Colleen Juergensen, who is retiring after 45 years with Kroger. Goodwin’s appointment is part of a series of division-level changes since mid-2025. Kroger continues executive shuffles as it prepares to name a new CEO in the first quarter of this year. Goodwin, who joined Kroger in 2022, will manage grocery stores, pharmacies, and fuel centers in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio starting April 1. Prior to Kroger, Goodwin worked at Albertsons for 30 years, most recently as vice president of operations for the Southwest Division. Kroger made various divisional leadership changes last July, including consolidating Texas operations and appointing new executives in different divisions.
