Lindian Resources has advanced its Kangankunde Rare Earths Project in Malawi by ordering key processing equipment and ramping up construction activities. The company has procured items like the SAG mill, thickener, and shaking tables, with delivery timelines ranging from 14 to 22 weeks. Over 550 workers are on-site, with construction progressing towards the first blast in April 2026. Safety remains a priority, with 200,000 lost-time-injury-free work hours achieved. March will see further construction milestones, including the start of process plant construction and mobilization for various scopes. The project is on track for first ore feed in November 2026.
