Mondragon Assembly acquires ATP Engineering & Packaging, a Barcelona-based company specializing in packaging machinery and solutions for 30 years with 60 employees. The undisclosed deal allows Mondragon Assembly to enter the food packaging market, focusing on picking and case-packing equipment. ATP generates €12m ($14.1m) in annual sales, half from European exports.
Mondragon Assembly’s acquisition of ATP Engineering & Packaging enables expansion into the food packaging market, with ATP’s expertise in automated packaging systems and cartoning machinery. With a turnover of €120m in 2025, Mondragon Assembly aims to leverage ATP’s client relationships and technical knowledge for future growth and diversification efforts.
ATP Engineering & Packaging will benefit from Mondragon Assembly’s resources and international presence post-acquisition.
