Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. has announced an agreement with Fincantieri for the design and construction of three new cruise ships. These ships will be for Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, with delivery between 2036 and 2037. This supports the company’s long-term growth pipeline with modest initial capital outlays. The company expects a 4% compound annual growth rate from 2026 through 2037. The newbuild pipeline includes a total of 17 new ships, strengthening the company’s competitive position while investing in next-generation ships. The ships will be built at Fincantieri’s shipyards in Italy.
