Key Indian stock indexes Sensex and Nifty50 ended lower on Thursday due to profit taking and geopolitical concerns. Sensex dropped 503.76 points to 83,313.93, while Nifty50 fell 133.20 points to 25,642.80. Metals, auto, realty, and consumer durables stocks were notable losers. Trent climbed 3% with a 36.3% rise in net profit. Tata Steel gained 1.3%, and SBI rose by 0.5%. Hindalco was the biggest loser in Nifty50, down 3%. Indian Oil Corporation reported a 322% jump in net profit. Market breadth was weak with more stocks closing lower than higher.
