The partnership aims to optimize production processes and support sustainability initiatives by using low-migration SICURA Nutriflex ORBIS DC inks, leading to increased press speeds and reduced waste during ECG printing.
The Revere Group benefits from Siegwerk’s inks, experiencing faster press runs, improved uptime, and reduced waste. The partnership allows for compatibility with UV and LED curing methods, as well as replicating a wide range of Pantone colors using seven inks. Siegwerk’s technical support helps in calibrating the new ink set.
Siegwerk and The Revere Group have been working together since 1989. The collaboration has led to exploring sustainable packaging options, such as using primers suitable for compostable materials. The partnership showcases how technical expertise and consistent ink performance can drive efficiency and sustainability in packaging.
Siegwerk recently secured RecyClass Technology Approval for its SICURA range of acrylic UV/LED-curable inks and varnishes, making it the first UV-curable ink technology approved for polyethylene flexible packaging.
