Soybean futures were slightly down on Monday, with some contracts closing higher last week. Open interest rose by 9,436 contracts on Friday. USDA reported soybean export commitments down by 20% compared to last year. Monthly WASDE data expected to show no major changes in US soybean stocks. Managed money soybean futures and options net long position increased to 28,832 contracts. Brazil soybean crop harvest estimated at 16% complete.
