In early trading, Applied Materials saw a 13.4% increase, making it the best performer in the S&P 500. Year to date, the company has gained 44.9%. On the flip side, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings is down 9.0% today, with a 5.2% decrease year to date. Expedia Group is trading down 7.2%, while Moderna is up 8.3%. Overall, it has been a mixed day for S&P 500 components.
