Standard Uranium has commenced drilling at its Corvo project, with plans for 3,000 meters of drilling across 8 to 10 holes. The campaign, funded by partner Aventis, will focus on the Manhattan target, which showed promising results in 2025. Additional drilling will target the Brooklyn and Tribeca zones, with upgraded geophysical surveys guiding exploration efforts.
The program at Corvo marks the first drill testing in over four decades, with the last drilling conducted in 1980. Vice President Exploration Sean Hillacre highlighted the importance of integrating geophysics, surface data, and historical drilling to refine targeting for improved discovery potential. Standard Uranium plans to launch multiple drill programs in 2026, starting at Rocas in March and then the Davidson River project later in the spring and summer.
