Stellantis and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles have signed a new MoU to deepen cooperation in manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain operations. The agreement celebrates twenty years of collaboration and aims to identify joint activities in India and global markets. The companies jointly operate FIAPL, producing 222,000 vehicles annually.
Tata Motors CEO expressed excitement over the partnership’s strength and shared values. The JV has manufactured over 1.37 million units, including Jeep and Tata models. Jaguar Land Rover, owned by Tata Motors, began drone-based inspections at its Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre in Wolverhampton. The Elios 3 drone from Flyability aids in reaching elevated spaces. This innovative approach allows maintenance teams to inspect equipment from ground level, improving efficiency and safety.
