Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) stock rose after reporting strong fourth-quarter financial results and 2026 guidance. Quarterly revenue reached $36.40 billion, beating estimates, with adjusted EPS of $1.09. Total postpaid phone net additions were 616,000, the best since 2019. Broadband net additions were 372,000, with fixed wireless access subscribers at over 5.7 million.

Verizon’s wireless service revenue in Q4 2025 was $21.0 billion, up 1.1% Y/Y. Total Consumer revenue was $28.44 billion, with 551,000 wireless retail postpaid phone net additions. Consumer wireless service revenue reached $17.37 billion. Verizon reported 109,000 wireless retail core prepaid net additions and 11,000 wireless retail postpaid net additions in Business.

Verizon’s net income was $2.45 billion, down from $5.11 billion in the previous year. Quarterly free cash flow was $4.37 billion, a decrease from $5.36 billion Y/Y. The company expects total retail postpaid phone net additions of 750,000 to 1.0 million, with adjusted EPS guidance of $4.90-$4.95. Operating cash flow is projected at $37.5 billion-$38.0 billion, with capital expenditure at $16.0 billion-$16.5 billion.
