WeRide and Uber plan to deploy 1,200 Robotaxis in the Middle East by 2027, covering cities like Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Riyadh. This is part of a larger agreement to operate in 15 cities by 2030. WeRide’s CEO, Tony Han, sees this as a significant step towards their vision of tens of thousands of Robotaxis globally in the next five years.
