Zurich Financial Services Australia has agreed to acquire ClearView Wealth for approximately A$415m ($295m), with ClearView investors set to receive A$0.65 per share. The deal is recommended by ClearView’s directors and expected to be completed in Q3 2026 pending approvals. The acquisition aims to enhance customer experience in the Australian life insurance market, combining Zurich’s capital strength with ClearView’s product offerings. ClearView, with A$413m in in-force premiums as of June 2025, sees Zurich as a fitting custodian for its ClearChoice product. This acquisition follows Zurich’s agreed terms with Beazley for a $10.8bn takeover, reflecting Zurich’s growth in net income and business operating profit in 2025.
