The US Federal Reserve, led by Jerome Powell, is prepared to take action to prevent a financial crisis, whether from the US trade war or other factors. Fed policy influences global markets, impacting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Boston Fed President Susan Collins assures support for markets if needed, but currently sees no liquidity concerns.

US regulators have approved options trading for spot Ether exchange-traded funds, a significant step in attracting institutional capital to ETH. BlackRock, Bitwise, Fidelity, and Grayscale have received approvals for options trading, potentially making ETFs more appealing to investors. The SEC is also deliberating on approving staking services for ETH ETFs.

Canadian regulators have approved staking ETFs for Solana, allowing asset managers to offer staked Solana ETFs in Canada. 3iQ, Purpose, Evolve, and CI have received approvals to provide Solana Staking ETFs, with yield expectations between 6% and 8%. Bitdeer is expanding self-mining operations in the US due to concerns about the trade war disrupting supply chains. The company is shifting focus to BTC mining amid declining demand for mining rigs. US President Donald Trump’s sons are investing in Bitcoin mining, aligning with the administration’s push for “made in America” Bitcoin.
