GLD Attracts $416 Million Amid Broad Market Selloff

Commodity ETFs saw a $749.6 million increase, as investors sought safe-haven assets during market volatility. International equity funds attracted $1.4 billion, while U.S. equity ETFs experienced outflows of $1.4 billion. Overall, ETFs saw net inflows of $1.8 billion across all categories.

The SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) gained $415.6 million in new assets, expanding its total assets to $99.1 billion. The iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) attracted $459.3 million, and the SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF Trust (DIA) gained $363.4 million as markets tumbled.

The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) experienced the largest outflows at $2.3 billion, followed by the Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) with $572.7 million exiting. The SPDR Bloomberg High Yield Bond ETF (JNK) lost $260.7 million amid semiconductor sector selloffs.
