Capital Farm Credit acquires two Texas crop insurance agencies, expanding services in agricultural region

Capital Farm Credit (CFC) has acquired Bennett Crop Insurance and Taylor Crop Insurance in the Texas Plains Region, expanding its insurance services. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Bennett and Taylor are independent agencies serving the Panhandle and cotton producers, respectively.
With the acquisition, CFC gains nine new employees and two locations, enhancing service offerings. CFC president Jeff Norte views this move as an opportunity to increase presence in the agricultural region, providing much-needed coverage in an environment facing insurance challenges.
The clients of Bennett and Taylor Crop Insurance will continue to work with the same agents at familiar locations. CFC has been in the crop and livestock insurance industry for over a decade, focusing on lending practices and expanding its insurance sales. The acquisition aims to strengthen their presence in the Plains Region.
