Occidental Petroleum reports loss in 4th quarter, but CEO remains optimistic about future.

  2. Occidental Petroleum Corp saw its production drop to 1.17 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in the 4th quarter, down from 1.41 million barrels a year earlier. The company also reported impairments of $1.5 billion in the quarter.
  3. Occidental Petroleum Corp’s CEO, Vicki Hollub, expressed optimism about the company’s future performance, citing progress in debt reduction and cost savings initiatives. She highlighted the company’s focus on its core assets and commitment to shareholder returns.
