Adaptavate secures funds to scale up production of low-carbon construction materials

Adaptavate secures £2.7m in funding from Undivided Ventures, Skreenhouse Ventures, SigmaRoc, and others for low-carbon construction materials. Partnership with SigmaRoc to establish calcium carbonate-based wallboards supply chain in Europe. Funds to accelerate Project Crystal, scaling up production of Breathaboard to reduce carbon emissions by up to 4kg/sqm.

Company has received nearly £9m through investments and grants. CEO Tom Robinson sees funding as a major step towards making planet-positive construction products a global reality, with support from Undivided Ventures and SigmaRoc.

Investments will help Adaptavate industrialize and globally adopt their products, including Breathaboard. Project Crystal to demonstrate carbon capture and repurposing to support climate goals. Company’s vision is to transition construction from emissions source to net carbon sink. Collaboration with industry partners for trials and expansion of low-carbon technology.
