Deanna Jurgens, former Bonduelle and Beyond Meat executive, has been appointed as the new CEO and president of Armanino Foods of Distinction, effective May 12. She brings extensive experience in growing branded businesses, previously serving in leadership roles at Bonduelle Americas and Beyond Meat, as well as 16 years at PepsiCo.

With the departure of former CEO Tim Anderson, Jurgens steps in to lead Armanino Foods into its next phase of growth and expansion. The company, known for its frozen Italian specialty food products like pestos, sauces, pastas, and meatballs, saw a 9% year-on-year increase in net sales to $69.4m in 2024, with net income reaching $14.4m.

Armanino Foods board chairman, Douglas Nichols, praised Jurgens’ track record of delivering growth, innovation, and strong customer partnerships in the food industry. Jurgens expressed excitement to work with the team, suppliers, and customers to continue the company’s success and tradition, emphasizing her strategic vision and ability to scale brands globally.
