Semiconductor stocks surged on Wall Street, driving the NASDAQ up 2.74 percent. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent hinted at a trade agreement with South Korea, while U.S. durable goods orders saw a significant increase in March. Oil prices also rose slightly on Thursday.
