The Caisse Regionale de Credit Agricole Mutuel Sud Rhone Alpes reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2025. Key figures include a decrease in loan balances by 0.7%, with home loans down by 0.2%. However, credit activity improved in the first quarter, with credit disbursements up by 38.4% compared to the same period in 2024.

In terms of deposits, the Caisse Regional saw a 1.7% increase in collection balances, reaching 27.1 billion euros. The collection of life insurance increased by 5.8%, benefiting from customers shifting funds from savings accounts to more profitable life insurance products.

The Caisse Regional’s net banking income for the first quarter of 2025 was 89.9 million euros, a 5.0% decrease compared to the previous year. Operating expenses increased by 3.0%, mainly due to higher personnel and social charges. The net social result decreased by 9.4% to 6.4 million euros.

The Caisse Regional’s total client assets reached 27.1 billion euros, covering the financing needs of the territories, which amount to 20.7 billion euros. The mutualistic model’s robustness is reflected in the Core Tier one capital of 1.84 billion euros and a CRD5 ratio of 21.52%.
