T-Mobile (NASDAQ:TMUS) exceeded Q1 earnings and revenue expectations, reporting $2.58 EPS and $20.89 billion in revenue, up 6.6% YoY. However, a miss in postpaid phone customer additions caused shares to drop over 6% in premarket trading.

Despite adding 495,000 postpaid phone subscribers (vs. expected 507,000), T-Mobile saw record total postpaid net additions of 1.3 million, including 424,000 High Speed Internet customers.

T-Mobile raised its full-year 2025 Core Adjusted EBITDA guidance to $33.2-$33.7 billion and maintained its target of 5.5-6.0 million postpaid net customer additions for the year.

While demonstrating strong profitability and overall customer growth, T-Mobile’s lower-than-expected phone subscriber numbers led to a significant sell-off in early trading.
