Argenx receives positive CHMP recommendation for VYVGART SC Injection for CIDP treatment

argenx SE has received a positive recommendation from the CHMP for European Commission approval of VYVGART 1000mg for the treatment of chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy. The subcutaneous injection is intended for adult patients with progressive or relapsing active CIDP, after prior treatment with corticosteroids or immunoglobulins. VYVGART can be self-administered by patients or caregivers, with a weekly dosing regimen that may be adjusted based on clinical evaluation. The recommendation is based on the successful ADHERE clinical trial, where a significant percentage of patients showed clinical improvement and a reduced risk of relapse compared to placebo.
