The 2025 Winter Program at the Cisco Lithium Project concluded with 6,997 meters drilled across 14 holes. Noteworthy intercepts include 50.9 m, 21.5 m, and 19.3 m of continuous spodumene pegmatite in drill hole CS25-028 and 64.3 m, 22.3 m, 18.1 m, and 12.7 m of spodumene pegmatite in drill hole CS25-036.
Assays are pending for all 14 drill holes completed in the 2025 Winter Program, which saw the main zone increase to 1,500 m from 850 m. President Alicia Milne expressed optimism about the results validating the project’s potential, with drilling to resume in June.
Vice President Neil McCallum described the Winter Program as a success, expanding the main mineralized zone to 1.5 kilometers. Future drilling plans will focus on defining the known mineralized zone, exploring untested areas, and mapping and sampling the Cisco Project.
Drill holes CS25-029, 031, and 033 targeted the main mineralized zone’s southern extension, while hole CS25-030 explored the northern extent. Hole CS25-028 provided valuable information on the eastern portion, and CS25-036 ended prematurely due to the goose-hunting season.
Metallurgical testing during the Winter Program aimed to evaluate the beneficiation of the mineralized zone at the Cisco Project. Initial results indicated spodumene as the primary lithium-bearing mineral. Optical televiewer surveys were conducted to confirm pegmatite contact relationships at depth during the 2024 drill program.
Drilling was conducted using diamond drill rigs with NQ-sized core samples. The samples were sent to SGS Canada’s laboratory for preparation and analysis. A Quality Assurance/Quality Control protocol was followed to ensure accuracy in the results.
Q2 Metals Corp will be attending upcoming mining investment conferences in London, UK, and Henderson, NV. The company is focused on the Cisco Lithium Project in Quebec, Canada, which has district-scale potential and has shown promising drill results. Qualified Person Neil McCallum oversees technical information for the project.
