MON: Canada Election will take place with expectations of a close call between Liberals and Conservatives. Four main parties will contest the election. The first YouGov poll shows a Liberal majority of 21, which would see PM Carney win. The latest averages indicate slight lead for the Liberals over Conservatives. The Canadian federal election works on a riding-based system.

WED: Key data releases including Japanese Activity Data, Chinese Official PMI, Australian CPI, German Retail Sales and Import Prices, US GDP and PCE. Treasury to release upcoming financing estimates and quarterly refunding expectations. China’s PMI data closely watched for signs of trade-related weakness.

THU: Bank of Japan to announce policy decision and release Outlook Report. South Korean Trade Balance data, Japanese Consumer Confidence, UK/US Final Manufacturing PMI, and US ISM Manufacturing PMI will be released.

FRI: Data releases include South Korean CPI, EZ Final Manufacturing PMI, EZ Flash CPI, and US Jobs Report. US Jobs Report expected to show 130k jobs added with unchanged unemployment rate. Tariffs and trade policies impact data and policy decisions. Fed closely watching employment and inflation metrics. EZ Flash CPI expected at 2.0%.
