Amgen is investing $900m in expanding its manufacturing facility in Ohio, bringing total investments in the state to $1.4bn and creating 750 jobs. The move aims to enhance manufacturing offerings in the US. Amgen has invested almost $5bn in the US since 2017, contributing $12bn to the economy.
