Heron Therapeutics Inc. (HRTX) has named Mark Hensley as its new Chief Operating Officer, bringing over fifteen years of experience in sales and operations in the pharmaceutical industry. Hensley previously held leadership roles at Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., including CEO from 2021 to 2024, and COO and CCO from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, he worked at Cornerstone Therapeutics and Chiesi USA.
