Bank of Åland Plc reported a strong start to 2025 with a net operating profit of EUR 18.3 million and a return on equity of 19.5%. Income is increasing primarily due to net commission income growth. Moody’s Ratings raised the Bank’s outlook to positive and affirmed its long-term deposit rating at A3.

In the first quarter of 2025, the Bank of Åland saw a 9% increase in net operating profit to EUR 18.3 million. Core income, total expenses, and impairment losses also showed positive trends. The Bank expects its return on equity after taxes to continue exceeding its long-term financial target of 15% in 2025.
