Integral Metals Corp. announces promising preliminary results from a geomicrobial survey at the Burntwood Project in Manitoba, indicating potential for rare earth element mineralization. The survey covered the northern extent of the Burntwood Syenite-Carbonatite Complex, with significant shifts in microbial communities detected over carbonatite systems. Analysis conducted in partnership with the University of Regina shows encouraging findings.

In addition to the geomicrobial survey, rock, soil, and plant geochemical samples collected in 2024 are being analyzed at the Saskatchewan Research Council. Integration of geomicrobial and geochemical datasets will aid in exploration targeting and prioritizing drilling locations. Integral Metals is dedicated to using innovative techniques for mineral discovery while minimizing environmental impact.

CEO Paul Sparkes expresses optimism about the early results, highlighting the potential of geomicrobial techniques in uncovering buried mineral systems. The research initiative is part of a larger project conducted in collaboration with the Institute for Microbial Systems and Society and funded by various entities including NSERC, Mitacs, and MMDF.

Integral Metals Corp., an exploration stage company, focuses on mineral exploration for critical minerals like rare earth elements. The company holds properties in Canada and the United States, aiming to contribute to the development of a domestic mineral supply chain. Forward-looking information in the press release outlines the company’s plans to focus efforts on the Kap Property and other mineral properties, subject to market conditions and exploration outcomes.
