VHM has signed an MOU with Currumbin Minerals for high-grade zircon-titania HMC supply from the Goschen project in Australia. Currumbin’s processing plant in Queensland will handle the HMC. The collaboration aims to sell HMC to Currumbin for processing. Production at Goschen is set to start in Q4 2026.

The Queensland facility is supported by SGCL and will be expanded with assistance from the Queensland Critical Minerals and Battery Technology Fund. The project will produce revenue from rare earth elements and HMC. VHM aims to build a domestic supply chain aligning with the Victoria Government’s Critical Minerals Roadmap.

Goschen project received primary approval in December 2024 and mining license this month. The mineral assemblage includes light and heavy rare earths. VHM is progressing towards secondary approvals. CEO Ron Douglas highlights the significance of the partnership with Currumbin Minerals for developing a domestic supply chain.
