Fidelity Investments recommends having saved one times your annual salary at age 30, and increasing this amount to ten times your salary by age 67. Unfortunately, Northwestern Mutual’s survey shows that many are far from meeting these goals, with only 22% of Millennials, 26% of Gen Xers, and 28% of Boomers having saved the recommended amounts.
