The STI closed higher on Wednesday, led by financial and property stocks. The Dow, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 all rose on Wall Street. Microsoft and Meta Platforms reported strong earnings, but jobless claims rose more than expected. Crude oil prices surged after President Trump threatened sanctions on countries buying Iranian oil.
