Balkan Express and Balkan Logistics have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, citing debts of over $25 million. The Texas-based dry van trucking company has 166 drivers and 159 power units, offering transportation services throughout Texas and the southwestern U.S. Assets range between $10 million and $50 million, with up to 49 creditors listed. M&T Capital previously sued Balkan Express for over $4.2 million in unpaid loans and fees. The companies aim to reorganize and pay unsecured creditors once administrative fees are settled. No comments were provided by Balkan Express or Balkan Logistics officials.
