Thinkagents.ai has launched an open-source framework for building onchain agents, challenging Big Tech’s control over AI. The protocol aims to create an interoperable ecosystem owned by users, with over 70 companies on board. The platform is live for developers, enterprises, and Web3 communities to experiment with.

The Think Agent Standard, developed by THINK protocol, allows autonomous onchain AI agents to transact and communicate. The standard was validated with a use case involving AI agents playing Street Fighter 3, bringing nine companies together for 30,000 viewers. The goal is to provide a user-centric decentralized AI agent platform.

The Think Agent Standard introduces a system where AI agents function as sovereign digital entities, interacting with smart contracts and transacting across blockchains. Each agent is powered by Non-Fungible Intelligence™ (NFI) and consists of three core elements: The Soul, The Mind, and The Body. The first platform built on this standard is SOULS, a personal AI agent.

Leading organizations in gaming, infrastructure, and generative AI are integrating the Think Agent Standard into real-world applications. The goal is to transition to the AI age by owning intelligence instead of renting it. With user-owned AI agents, data ownership and control are in the hands of users, addressing issues around data security and privacy. 23andMe is under fire for selling customer DNA data to third parties, raising concerns about privacy and security. Critics argue that the company’s business model is based on profiting from users’ genetic information, potentially putting sensitive data at risk of misuse.

In the world of cryptocurrency, stablecoins are emerging as a new battleground between traditional banks and digital assets. Originally designed to disrupt the banking industry, some crypto projects are now looking to create stablecoins that mimic traditional fiat currencies, blurring the lines between the two financial systems.
