Toymaking giant Mattel is halting its Hot Wheels Virtual Garage NFTs, with no new releases planned. Users can still operate on the platform until at least 2025. Nike shut down its NFT marketplace RTFKT, leading to a lawsuit, while FIFA is moving its NFT collection to a new Ethereum-compatible blockchain. The NFT market saw a 63% drop in Q1 2025 with $1.5 billion in total sales.
