From Nasdaq: 2025-05-05 12:50:00
Spyre Therapeutics presented data from its Phase 1 trial of SPY001, showing promising results for IBD treatment. The antibody therapy has a longer half-life than vedolizumab, offering potential for enhanced responses with less frequent dosing. Preclinical data also showed dual inhibition of a4ß7 integrin and TL1A cytokine to be more effective in colitis mouse models. Dr. Deanna Nguyen highlighted SPY001’s potential for quarterly or biannual dosing in IBD patients. Spyre plans to evaluate SPY001 in a Phase 2 trial for ulcerative colitis soon. SYRE stock is currently down 7.58% on Nasdaq.
