Palantir, led by CEO Alex Karp, raised its revenue guidance as the AI software company experienced significant growth in commercial and government sectors. Revenues surged to $884 million, beating expectations, with net income doubling to $214 million. The company projects U.S. commercial revenues to surpass $1.178 billion this year, driving a 39% revenue increase from last year.

The defense technology company saw commercial revenues soar by 71% to $255 million, while government segment sales spiked 45% to $373 million. CEO Karp credited the growth to increased U.S. defense sector adoption of Palantir’s tools, as demand for large language models surged. The company’s U.S. revenues jumped 55% to $628 million.

Palantir also raised its full-year revenue outlook to between $3.89 billion and $3.90 billion, highlighting the strong growth trajectory. The company reported 139 deals worth at least $1 million, with 31 deals exceeding $10 million. Palantir’s stock has surged 64% this year, outperforming the S&P 500, propelled by key defense contracts and government efficiency initiatives.

CEO Karp emphasized that the results reflect a significant industry shift and business revolution, positioning Palantir as a leader in AI software solutions. The company’s adjusted free cash flow outlook for the year now ranges from $1.6 billion to $1.8 billion, with adjusted income projected between $1.711 billion and $1.723 billion.
