The Indonesia stock market continued its upward trend, with the Jakarta Composite Index gaining more than 225 points in six consecutive sessions, now above 6,830 points. Global markets are soft due to tariff concerns and falling oil prices. JCI closed slightly higher on Monday, supported by telecoms and mixed performances from other sectors. Wall Street closed in the red, with the Dow down 0.24%, NASDAQ down 0.74%, and S&P 500 down 0.64%. Trade concerns resurfaced following Trump’s announcement of a 100% tariff on foreign movies. Crude oil prices hit a four-year low after OPEC+ members agreed to increase production.
