Sanatana Resources has signed a definitive agreement with LIRECA Resources to acquire the Gold Strike Two Project in Yukon, Canada. LIRECA, part of the Florin Group, owns five properties in Yukon, including Gold Strike Two, Gold Strike One, Florin Gold, FLR Gold, and RJ Gold Projects within the Tintina Gold Province.
Under the agreement, Sanatana will pay C$500,000 and issue six million common shares to LIRECA. The Gold Strike Two Project has a 3% net smelter returns royalty, with options to reduce it. The project area covers 293 quartz claims in the Mayo Plutonic Suite.
Exploration work in 2024 found anomalous gold, arsenic, bismuth, and tungsten samples on the project. Sanatana also announced private placements to raise up to C$1.2m for the acquisition. Closing conditions include TSX Venture Exchange approval and a name change for Sanatana.
Sanatana CEO Peter Miles highlighted the importance of the Gold Strike Two acquisition, establishing a relationship with the Florin Group for potential future acquisitions. The project is expected to position Sanatana as a publicly traded company with a prospective land position in the Rogue Plutonic Complex region.
