Freshpet, Inc. reported mixed first-quarter 2025 results, with top line beating estimates and increasing year over year, but bottom line missing estimates and decreasing year over year. Net sales rose to $263.2 million, up 17.6% from the year-ago period. Adjusted gross profit increased 18.5% to $120.2 million, with gross margin expanding to 45.7%. Adjusted EBITDA was $35.5 million, up 16.2% year over year. Freshpet revised its 2025 guidance, expecting net sales of $1.12-$1.15 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $190-$210 million. The company’s stock has declined by 46.2% in the past three months.
