Brixton Metals Corporation announces its 2025 exploration plans for the Thorn Copper-Gold Project in British Columbia, Canada. The company plans to expand near-surface gold mineralization and drill for new copper porphyry discoveries with a combined 8000m to 10,000m. Notable results include hole 307 returning 8.00m of 4.52 g/t gold, 148.6 g/t silver, 0.54% copper.

The 2025 exploration season at the Thorn Project will focus on high-impact, near-surface targets. The plan is to split the budget 50/50 between gold and copper targets, with drilling set to begin by May 25th. Previous campaigns have uncovered new, large-scale copper-gold targets with great potential for new discoveries.

In 2024, drilling in Camp Creek identified two new zones of near-surface high-sulphidation gold mineralization, possibly feeder structures. Notable results include hole 307 returning 26m of 1.89 g/t gold, 74.8 g/t silver, 0.28% copper, and hole 221 returning 55.8 g/t gold over 1.5m. Plans include shallow drilling to test these structures and potential extensions.

Significant gold mineralization was recorded in the Trapper Gold Target, with drill intercepts including 82.00m of 1.27 g/t gold and 2.00m of 44.43 g/t gold. The Trapper Target shows structurally controlled gold mineralization at the contact between quartz diorite and lapilli tuff volcanics. Multiple magnetic features indicate potential for new gold discoveries.

New copper-gold porphyry targets Catalyst and Tempest were discovered in 2024. Catalyst showing, located 6 km northeast of Camp Creek Porphyry Target, contains stockwork veins with up to 0.56% copper and 2.87 g/t gold. Tempest showing, located 4.5 km east, hosts a zone of sericite-clay-pyrite altered porphyry with high sericite crystallinity.
