US spirits company High Basin Brands (HBB) acquires Can-Tini, a nitrogen-infused ready-to-drink espresso martini brand. The financial terms undisclosed. HBB cites the growing popularity of espresso martinis and premiumization of the RTD space. Can-Tini is HBB’s second acquisition in 12 months, enhancing its focus on premium, culturally relevant brands.
Can-Tini founder Henry Rathjen excited about joining HBB, sees it as an opportunity to scale the brand with resources and strategic support. HBB’s portfolio includes Treaty Oak Distilling and Ghost Hill Organic Vodka. Jordan Rothschild-Noomé, HBB’s CMO, praises Can-Tini as a break-out brand offering a premium cocktail experience without compromise.
HBB, founded in 2023 by the team behind On The Rocks Cocktails, officially launched in November with $4m seed funding. The company also acquired Treaty Oak Brewing and Distilling. Plans to launch Ghost Hill Organic Vodka in early 2025. Just Drinks seeks further comment from HBB representatives.
