Alcoa Appoints Thomas Gorman As Non-executive Chairman

Alcoa Corp. appointed Thomas Gorman as non-executive Chairman of the Board, effective immediately after the 2025 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Gorman, an independent director since 2021, succeeds Steven Williams, who served as Chairman since 2021 and as a director since the company’s launch in 2016. Gorman previously held executive roles at Brambles Ltd. and Ford Motor Company, including as CEO. Williams stepped down from the Board after over eight years of service. The change in leadership was announced on May 8, 2025.
